Want more road clearance? Many people want to lower their New Bug, but what if you want to go higher? To date I can find only one lift mod for the New Beetle.

MetalNerd Brand is selling two kits, 1” rise and 2” rise for the New Beetle and many other Volkswagen models that use the same suspension.

The inventor is marketing them as an “equipment trial.” You need to fill out a waiver stating that you accept full responsibility for the mod. You also have to pony up an extra $100 deposit that will be returned as soon as you send in the paperwork from a professional alignment shop.
